Gary Coonan – Psychologist

I am a psychologist that is passionate about helping people gain insight and understanding combined with meaningful, real-life changes that allow us to address the challenges we may be facing, and to live a life we truly care about. I am person-centred, non-judgmental, and strengths focused in my approach that includes ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention.

I enjoy working with adolescents and adults facing a wide range of challenges such as addiction issues, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, stress and anger management, and relationship issues.
