Daena is an experienced practitioner and Manager. For over 6 years Daena has been a leader in the NDIS sector and has over 10 years experience working with children, families, and individuals as an agent for support and change. Daena has lived and worked in Queensland, the remote Northern Territory and rural NSW. She has studied a range of degrees to walk alongside and empower those that she works with. She has a strong belief in the importance of creating supportive and inclusive environments for all individuals, and strives to provide compassionate and non-judgmental support. Daena is a lifelong learner and strongly values a growth mindset.


Driven by evidence-based practice and trauma-informed care, Daena takes pride in providing the best service possible and creating a team that upholds Human Rights and is collaborative and person-centred. Her approach focuses on relationships and stakeholder engagement.

Daena believes in the power of community-based solutions and works to empower individuals to advocate for themselves and their families. Daena has experience in complex mental health, trauma, child protection, working with CALD individuals and families and corrections. Daena has also provided mentoring, coaching and training sessions to emerging leaders and teams within the education and community sector.
