Kate has worked within the NDIS industry for over 2 years with experience as a Support Coordinator and in leadership roles. During Kate's time working within the NDIS sector, she has worked with people from many backgrounds and communities including complex mental health, CALD communities, Corrections, Child Safety and LGBTQIA+. Kate is committed to creating a supportive environment that is free from judgement, person-centred and trauma informed. 


Kate volunteers at events that promote suicide prevention and domestic violance awareness and is committed to supporting other's to achieve their goals and reach their potential. Kate is passionate about working alongside participants, families and their care teams to explore creative solutions to overcome complex challenges. 


Fun Fact about yourself:

Kate has a deep passion for art, particularly painting. Painting is a way for Kate to channel her thoughts, feelings and unwind in the evening. Kate's preferred painting medium is Gouache (a watercolour-acrylic hybrid) and she has even won a few competitions for her paintings.


Areas of Practice:

Kate has a profound passion for working with children and young adults. Kate finds joy in walking alongside young people as they grow and achieve their goals. Kate has a particular interest in how trauma influences young people and their communication and behaviours as they grow and reach adulthood.
